About

A Journey of Creativity and Nature

My name is Michelle Stephens and I am the founder of The Songbird and the Bee. Creating lovely things has been a lifelong joy.

The name, The Songbird and the Bee, is inspired by growing up in the 70s when we had albums like Harry Nilsson’s The Point, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles. I wore roller skates and owned a glitter Dragstar. I even survived despite not having any padded protection.
